Doodlehead Flood has been converted from a quick prototype in flash to an iPhone/iPod touch game with a number of improvements. Now to enlist some testers and set up all the support stuff (support email, support page, app page…). Yeesh.

And Done
Friday, February 27th, 2009Ad Hoc Distribution
Wednesday, February 25th, 2009So it took a while to figure this out but in order to distribute via ad hoc:
1. Make sure the device id’s are in the Apple iPhone Program Portal.
2. Make sure you’ve added the entitlements.plist file to your app.
3. In the target dialog, make sure code signing elements points to the entitlements plist file you created.
4. This is the part I was getting wrong: make sure Code Signing Identity -> (whatever’s selected) has your “iPhone Distribution: Your Name” item chosen. I was building with “iPhone Developer: My Name” which meant it would only run on my hooked up iPod.

A couple of days ago I bit the bullet because price to performance, this is the best portable pdf viewer available. (more…)
Make Them Filibuster
Monday, February 9th, 2009Dear President Obama:
I’m a little concerned here. It’s pretty obvious that you should make the Republicans filibuster rather than make concessions against the potential threat of a filibuster. (more…)
Krugman the Joker, Pt. II
Sunday, February 8th, 2009“… a large fraction of any tax cut will simply be saved.”
- Paul Krugman
Mint.com posted an analysis of their users’ saving/spending trends on tech crunch which one would think would be more useful than Krugman’s numbers since these numbers are based on actual people. (more…)
Make Use Of Your Chuck 3D Glasses
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009Seeing as how most anaglyphs on the web are the green/red variety, the Chuck3D / Super Bowl glasses are lacking for content. As such, I’ve made a quickie flash thing to grab stereograph images from flickr and convert them to pseudo ColorCode 3-D/(ochre/blue) images. Will be improving as time allows:
