Having finally gotten a bit of free time to tool around I’ve started porting flood from flash/as3 to xcode. It would be swell if Apple ever brought back Java coding support for cocoa, as objective-c is a backwards throwback language. Here are a few things that are to say the least irritating. Late last year I went into a Blockbuster to rent a game and noticed that they had the Archos 605 4GB Wifi on sale for $99, which seemed like an incredible deal – that’s about half the price you can get it for on Amazon. A couple of days ago I bit the bullet because price to performance, this is the best portable pdf viewer available. (more…)
